Inclusive DesignEach grade revisits the same 36-lesson journey through Scripture, going deeper every year. The same stories, the same 9 fruits, but with growing complexity, richer writing, and greater personal reflection.
Pre-K children experience the Bible through all five senses. The focus is wonder and reception: hearing stories, drawing pictures, acting out scenes, and soaking in truth at a developmental level. No reading required; oral recitation and sensory play are king.
Kindergartners revisit the same 36 lessons with a new goal: retelling the story in their own words. Emerging literacy is woven throughout. Kids write 1β2 sentences per lesson and begin building their own written faith vocabulary.
First graders write sentences about what they believe and why. The same 36 lessons revisit beginning apologetics, connecting Bible truth to personal faith through written paragraphs, complete sentences, and memory verse writing.
Grade 2 brings critical thinking and reflective writing. Students analyze characters, explore themes, and make text-to-life connections. The same 36 lessons now include 5-sentence essays, research-based writing, and a portfolio presentation.
FSKβ’ doesn't just build Bible knowledge. It builds whole children. The Core Foundations Companion Workbooks run alongside each Bible lesson, adding ~45 minutes of secular academic enrichment in three key strands.
Every grade has its own workbook: 108 pages (cover + parent guide + 36 lesson sections Γ 3 strand pages), aligned to Ohio Learning Standards and NGSS science standards.
See All Workbooks πOral/drawn responses, sensory play, and play-based inquiry. All 3 strands are hands-on and movement-friendly. No writing required.
1-sentence written responses, sorting & classifying activities, and basic civic vocabulary. Building written expression alongside Bible learning.
1β3 sentence written responses, full scientific inquiry cycle, and a lab journal. Students begin recording data and writing civic reflections.
Full paragraphs, lab reports with data tables, and research-based civics writing. Students compare perspectives and draw evidence-based conclusions.
FSKβ’ uses a true spiral curriculum. Every grade revisits the same 36 lessons with increasing depth and complexity. Children build on prior knowledge year after year, forming deep roots in both Scripture and academic skills.
